The container houses are exactly what it seems. Houses made of steel cargo containers that are transported carry goods everywhere in trains, trucks and ships. From these giant blocks of Lego, people build houses of all shapes and sizes.
The smallest container makes a small box of the house of about 100 square feet. Eight larger containers can form a two-story house at a height of approximately 1,400 square feet. Hundreds of small container apartments together can create a huge apartment building.
Why are shipping containers used to make houses, studios, compartments and offices? Well, with about 14 million containers “out of service” in the world, there are many. Playing with giant blocks has a specific gravity!
In addition to elegance, the interest in container houses is part of a broader interest in providing funds through homes and prefabricated units. Many potential owners are looking for low construction and maintenance costs. There is also the perception that container houses contribute to recycling.

Try adding plants to your room. You'll be surprised at how much more lively, yet calming; a room can become just by adding a simple plant to the room. A single plant, properly placed, can really set the mood and bring a room together. Just don't forget to water it!
Install more cabinets. Cabinets can be worked into just about any room. They are a handy fixture to have around the house. More cabinet space cuts down on clutter, and unlike more shelf space, it keeps your things out of sight. More storage space is always a handy thing to have.
When decorating a book shelf, place like items together. When you are arranging home decor or books, place them near items of similar size, style and color. This helps keep the area looking stylish and less cluttered. For example, if you have two similar vases, place one on the end of the shelf and the other near it.
If you are trying to design a room in your home, you can't go wrong with installing bigger windows. Bigger windows obviously bring in more natural light and also have the added benefit of making your room look larger. This strategy is particularly useful in older houses with smaller square windows.
